Breakfast is often too rushed to enjoy, so we came up with this nutritious fall recipe you can prep the night before. We can't promise you won't still be in a hurry come sunrise, but at least you'll have creamy Toasted Quinoa Flakes and crisp fall apples to enjoy while you scurry. This recipe was inspired by the classic Swiss bircher muesli recipe - with no added sugar!
- 1/2 cup almond milk
- 1/2 cup I Heart Keenwah Toasted Quinoa Flakes
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup grated apple
- 1 Tbs chia
- 1 tsp lemon juice
Garnish: vegan yogurt and cubed apple
- Combine all ingredients except for the garnish in mason jar and let sit overnight.
- Enjoy with a dollop of dairy-free yogurt and cubed apple.
