We started I Heart Keenwah with a simple mission – to share our love of Bolivian quinoa with the world. We made our first batches of Quinoa Clusters in our own kitchens, using real ingredients like toasted quinoa, nuts, organic chocolate – no preservatives, artificial colors or other unnecessary additives.
As we grew, and started to introduce other products such as Quinoa Puffs and Chocolate Puffs, we searched for manufacturing partners and suppliers who could share our commitment to real ingredients. It wasn’t easy, but our efforts paid off and thanks to those partners, we’ve always been able to proudly stand behind every product we make.
That pride in our products and ingredients is exactly why we’re addressing you now. Unfortunately, the company that was producing our Sea Salt Truffle flavor is no longer able to supply us with ingredients that fit our picky criteria. The news hit us hard – not only is this one of our top selling items, but it’s a personal favorite among the four of us on the team.
The good news is, we were able to locate a new source for our natural truffle seasoning. We worked diligently on the new recipe, and are confident that it will please truffle fans just as much as our original recipe – but for long-time buyers of this flavor, there will be a difference.
